Ham Breakfast Casserole Ingredients: 6 slices Bread Butter or Margarine 1 pound Ham 1 ½ cups Shredded Cheese 6 Eggs, Beaten 2 cups Half and Half 1 teaspoon SaltInstructions:Remove crusts from bread. Spread with butter. Place in 9x13 pan. Set aside. Spooon ham over bread slices. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs, half and half, and salt. Mix well and pour over cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Remove 15 minutes before baking at 350° for 45 minutes or until set.
Ham and Cheese Pockets Ingredients:1 package Frozen Bread DoughLarge package shredded cheese1 whole ham½ c. MargarineInstructions:Prep work: Thaw the bread dough overnight. Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface roll out bread dough into long rectangles (about the size of a large shoe box). Do not make the dough too thin—it should be about ¼ of an inch thick. Cut the outer edges off the ham and shred in a food processor. Mix the ham and shredded cheese into a mixture that is about half cheese and half ham. Stuff the middle of the bread dough with the mixture. Fold the long edges of the dough into the middle and then fold the tops edges over. Brush both sides with the margarine and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cooking times vary by altitude and oven, so after 20 minutes cut the ham pocket open to see if the middle is no longer doughy. For Colby I prepare this recipe with just meat and no cheese. I then brush it with soy margarine and not regular margarine.
Party Potatoes- I bet you could add ham to this.Ingredients:8 Medium Potatoes1/4 cup Melted Margarine1 can Cream of Chicken Soup1 1/2 cups Sour Cream1/2 teaspoon Salt3 Green Onions, Chopped2 cups Cheddar Cheese, GratedInstructions:Boil the potatoes, peel and cube them and place in large bowl. Add melted margarine to soup. Blend in sour cream, salt, onions, and 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese. Stir and place in 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350° . Top with 1/2 cup more of cheese. Bake 25 minutes more.
