HELP!

I am trying really hard to cut down on our grocery bill. Am I the only one shopping for 5 people that spends close to $500.00 a month? I loved Jade's idea for "food storage" meals. But I was wondering if anyone had some good Vegetarian/meat free meals. I'm not a veggie lover, but I'd like to cut down on our meat intake. If you can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I want ideas too. I already coupon and buy in bulk and buy store brand, but we must consume too much or something...

I have been trying to cut down my budget too and find that couponing is wonderful. Although it takes more time, it saves me soo much money. Before couponing I spent $320 a month and we consumed all of it. Now I spend the same amount and have a closet brimming with food storage. I buy on sale and use coupons to get meat. One way to cut down it to use bran mixed with meat or use only half of what the recipe calls for, my family doesn't notice. When soups call for meat, I add beans to make it meatless.
